01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Portogruaro on Viale Trieste, Pizzeria Da Mario is a beloved local gem that honors the timeless tradition of authentic Neapolitan pizza. This cozy pizza restaurant invites you to indulge in a culinary experience where passion and quality ingredients come together in perfect harmony.

Stepping inside Pizzeria Da Mario feels like stepping back to a classic Italian pizzeria—warm, welcoming, and unpretentious. The ambiance is comfortably nostalgic, with a slightly old-school charm that locals cherish, complemented by friendly and attentive staff who make every visit feel truly special.

The star of the show, of course, is the pizza. Each pie is thoughtfully crafted with a soft, tender dough that melts in your mouth, topped with rich, high-quality ingredients bursting with flavor. Customers like Mi Pa' praise the pizzeria for its genuine care in preparing “una vera pizza napoletana,” highlighting the perfectly balanced sauce and toppings that create a delightfully satisfying bite every time. The wood-fired oven adds a subtle smokiness and a delectably crisp crust that defines the pizza’s irresistible character.

Many diners, including Valeria Orlando and Daniel Vázquez, note not only the exceptional taste but also the swift, courteous service that enhances the overall dining experience. The use of local craft beers from Pordenone—a thoughtful touch noted by Alberto Boscariol—pairs wonderfully with the pizzas, offering a full-flavored meal that’s both authentic and inviting.

Whether you’re a devoted pizza connoisseur or simply in search of a welcoming spot to savor delicious, traditional Italian pizza, Pizzeria Da Mario offers a genuine taste of Portogruaro’s rich pizza heritage. It’s a place where the simple joy of eating well-made pizza is celebrated with warmth and dedication—definitely a must-visit destination that leaves a lasting impression and a desire to return.

Assolutamente consigliato.
